Strings are not binary

Welcome

The only way to eat a whale? One bite at a time.

Greetings fellow human,

Thank you for taking an interest in what I've got to say - I value your attention and will do my upmost to give you a return in the multiples.

To that end, my intention is to send a newsletter out once a fortnight to start - if I think it's worth reading. If you're like me, you've got a load of newsletters already and probably only read a tenth of them, if that.

The things I like talking about are the...

Focus of this newsletter

  • Mindful Leadership: Blending business leadership with wellbeing principles to foster sustainable, human-centred growth
  • Tech with Heart: Showing how tech can enhance personal growth and business and personal efficiency without sacrificing genuine human interaction
  • Future-Focused Parenting: Equipping children with the skills and mindset for a rapidly evolving tech landscape (I can't wait for you to meet my daughter, Olivia - she's awesome).

Strings are not binary

You may be wondering about the subject line - I am a big proponent of context, and "Strings are not binary" is one of those statements that can be true, false, or nonsense, depending on the context. I think Charlie Munger said it best...

Context is everything. Brute facts in themselves are meaningless.

Though if Discovery wasn't such an appalling arc of the Star Trek universe I'd love to have used Gabriel Lorca's quote, mostly because Jason Isaacs is a boss.

I'm also a fan of brevity, so with these comments I hope you have some insight in to how I am approaching this new period of my career, with content creation as the engine but with fun, insight and connection at its core.
People have said for this to be successful you must be authentic.

It's going to be wild.

Welcome aboard!
